This week in “People of Dancom”, we would like to introduce to you, Ms. Fatin Syazana.

Fatin joined the Dancom family in April 2017, as a Training Executive attached to Dancom’s brand partner – Dyson. She had assisted as an educator and quality assurance advisor to the Product Specialist and Training team of Dyson on the features and technology of Dyson machines. Although typically a shy person, Fatin credited her role as an important stepping stone towards developing her confidence and her ability to communicate well with stakeholders, while being open-minded with a continued hunger to learn.

Within a span of just a few months, the Management team of Dancom Group had already recognized her potential in customer relations. In September 2017, Fatin was tasked with a new role as the Supervisor of operations for Dancom Group’s first retail project – Malaysia’s first Dyson Demo Store at the Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur. She had supported the Retail Operations Manager in making sure that the day-to-day store operations were running smoothly, ranging from logistics to sales demonstrations. Fatin’s proven leadership skills and knowledge in retail operations subsequently led her to overseeing the retail operations for the new Dyson Demo Store expansion in Gurney Plaza, Penang, on October 2018.  

In 2019, Dancom Group expanded its growing list of value-added services with the establishment of a dedicated Call-Center team at Dyson Service Centre (Petaling Jaya) to manage after-sales inquiries from owners. Fatin’s continued development in her leadership skills and management of customer service experience in retail made her the perfect candidate to manage the daily operations for the Call-Centre.

As 2021 rolled along, so did Dancom Group’s vision on expanding its outreach to customers. The latest opening of the first Dyson flagship Service Centre and Store, located at a prime hub of Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, is just a testament of Dancom’s growing ambitions. Today, Fatin supervises the Customer Service team at the outlet to ensure that Dyson customers are provided with the best after-sales experience.
